In most cases, a builder will provide a one-year warranty in the event that home issues are reported. It is recommended to have newly constructed homes inspected before the builder’s warranty expires. Any issues reported before that time, the builder will fix. Taking proactive measures will save you time and money on those needed repairs.
We’re excited that our son, Robert, has joined our family owned business full-time. I have worked with many of you through the 10 years that I have been a home inspector and we’ve seen many ups and downs in the real estate market. Through it all, Burchett Home Inspection has put their customers first and will continue to provide the best service possible. We will always treat our customers with the utmost integrity and honesty and go the extra mile to provide a quality home inspection.
We perform inspections in the following areas of a home, which will assist you in the purchase, sale, appraisal or safety of the property.
Radon is a colorless, odorless radioactive gas. Very low levels of radon are found in the air we breathe daily. The problem occurs when this gas enters your home and gets trapped. Long-term exposure to high levels of radon can cause serious health problems. Any house, of any age, in any state, can have elevated levels.
Testing your home for radon is the only way to know whether your house is safe. Special pricing when added to your initial home inspection.
